Well Control Equipment Training

Well control is a safety critical aspect of every well site operation, and we have designed this course to ensure that all delegates are provided with the knowledge required to operate the equipment safely and understand the role it plays in ensuring the safety of the well.

The training IAS International provides in collaboration with our partners at Cansco Well Control, combines a mix of presented material supported by a significant amount of practical hands-on experience with an actual operational BOPE system set up combined with an extensive array of BOPE training models.

Trainees get to operate real BOPE systems, conduct closing and opening sequences, and to touch and feel critical components of the system such as ram elastomers, seals and sealing faces. Trainees will be assessed to determine their competence standards in operating BOPE systems.

Emergency Response Audits and Training

IAS have robust programs to ensure the effectiveness of security and emergency plans. Our SMEs can conduct scenario-based training for response teams and crews.

We can run full-scale drills to test emergency evacuation and response procedures as well as regular tabletop exercises to identify gaps in contingency planning.

Our SMEs will provide post-exercise evaluations and recommendations for improvement. We will then support clients to update their procedures in line with industry standards and to remain in compliance with international and local regulatory requirements.
